Game prototype created in teams of 4 during a semester

The video game creation class led us to the creation of a prototype with the theme "Your life is currency". We opted for a game in topdown view, in a tron ​​style. The player must choose his powerups, which will cost him life, the healthbar will decrement over time once in the level. The goal of the player is therefore to find a balance between the purchase of powerups and the time available in the level, which will be judged by the the arrangement of the obstacles.

Unfortunately, the game did not reach production, the jury decreed that most of the work would concern level design and balancing, but the production class had to test our abilities of development. We were therefore transferred to another project called "LifeTime".

This project was my first use of Perfporce, we encountered some difficulties with this software, but it allowed us to master the tool. The assets used have been purchased by UQAC as part of the class, so I do not have the right to continue to develop it or to share the build.
